Organisers of the 2022 Australian Arenacross Series powered by Protraxx are thrilled to confirm Yamaha Motor Australia as a major partners for the inaugural four-round series that commences in late January.

The nationally-recognised, MA-sanctioned Australian Arenacross Series is designed to fill the vital gap between grassroots racing and professional Supercross, while offering all levels of riders and trackside spectators an exciting spectacle on a full-blown arenacross track.

Yamaha Motor Australia business development manager, Nick Marshall, expects the all-new series to provide a breath of fresh air to the racing scene and provide top-level entertainment for both the racers and fans.

“Yamaha Motor Australia is proud to get on-board and support this exciting new series,” Marshall explained.

“The past two years have been an incredibly tough period for everybody and the Australian Arenacross Series will be a great opportunity for riders, families and local communities to come together and enjoy some great racing.

“We’re excited to see what the series delivers and look forward to seeing the Australian Arenacross Series become a permanent fixture on the racing calendar.”

Australian Arenacross director, Jessica Proctor, is excited to welcome Yamaha Motor Australia as a major partner of the new series.

“It’s a huge testament to the potential of our series that one of the major motorcycle manufacturers has come on-board,” Proctor commented. “Nick and the team at Yamaha have the same passion as us to build the sport and create future champions.

“Arenacross racing offers both racers and fans an incredible experience, with both intense on-track action and quality trackside entertainment that the whole family can enjoy. We hope to have a long-lasting partnership with Yamaha that will benefit all parties, particularly our riders and event patrons.”
